Million Paws Walk in Adelaide

On Sunday 17th May 2009, many paws and feet walked in the mud and puddles in an effort to raise money for the RSPCA.  Adelaide Animal Hospital entered a team of staff members and their pets to walk the 5km walk starting at Elder Park.

We were joined by team members:-

  • Dr Bryony Senic with her Labrador 'Ebony' and Cocker Spaniel 'Pixie'
  • Dr Piri Cutts with her Kelpie Cross 'Baci'
  • Beth Foreman with her Kelpie Cross German Shepherd 'Zac'
  • Amy Snajdar with her Terrier Cross 'Maisey'
  • Tanya Forbes with her Great Dane 'Zeus'
  • Michelle Anderson with her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel 'Jeda'

Despite the rain it was a great day and was good to see so many people and their dogs enjoying the walk and spending valuable time together. It is unfortunate how many people don't value the bond they have with their pets. The walk supports the RSPCA in operating it's shelters around Australia and helping to prevent animal cruelty. Adelaide Animal Hospital were proud to support the event.
